Socianet partnered with LinkedIn Local-Lagos, the biggest networking event for LinkedIn users in Lagos from its inception till date. We covered the editions, providing digital event management services for each edition.

Summary

LinkedIn Local-Lagos is a networking event for LinkedIn users in Lagos, targeting business leaders, young, middle-level and senior professionals. The brand required digital event marketing and management to reach its target audience.

Our tasks included providing event marketing, content strategy and pre and post event campaigns as well.

Challenge

The networking industry in Nigeria is a growing market. As such, LinkedIn Local Lagos needed effective strategies to inform and convince people to sign up for the event.

In addition to this, we had to portray the value of the event on digital channels and use storytelling to increase awareness around the event.

Solutions

We started by understanding what the brand needs and its unique value proposition. Then we outlined & executed effective strategies by way of content, audience engagement, influencer marketing and so on. We developed the pre-event, event and post event marketing strategy.

We developed community engagement plans to improve response time on digital channels. The LinkedIn Local-Lagos has had 4 editions with over 4500 people registered in total. We’ve secured several partnerships with renowned organisations delivering value across the board.
